Assist and support industrial and centrally assessed property return processing and annual statement appraisals.
Appraise less complex industrial properties to estimate real market value for ad valorem tax purposes.
Assist Appraiser Analyst 3’s and 4’s in the appraisal of major utility and industrial property.
Participate in the development of approved appraisal methods and the implementation of these methods in the appraisal process.
Driving to remote locations to conduct appraisals or review appraisals.
Requirements
Must possess Registered Appraiser status through the State of Oregon or ability to obtain within six months of hire
Three (3) years of experience in appraisals, accounting, or auditing; OR Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, real estate, business administration, forestry, engineering, or a related field; OR Associate degree in property appraisal or real estate technology or a related field AND one and a half (1.5) years of appraisal experience
Appraisal experience must be obtained under appraiser registration, licensure, or certification granted by a state regulatory agency
Some positions may require a valid State of Oregon driver's license
