About this role
Role Overview
Provide architectural guidance and support for the design and implementation of Microsoft 365 solutions.
Design, implement, and optimize Power Platform environments and deployment pipelines.
Develop architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices for M365 solutions.
Advise project teams on integration, configuration, and optimization of M365 tools, including Power Platform, Azure, Exchange, Intune, and SharePoint.
Collaborate with stakeholders and IRS SMEs to align solutions with business objectives and IRS-specific compliance requirements.
Prepare and maintain architectural documentation, diagrams, and technical design artifacts.
Provide guidance on security, scalability, and maintainability of cloud-based M365 solutions.
Support technical decision-making and serve as a subject matter expert on M365 architecture.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of IT architecture experience, with a focus on Microsoft 365 and Power Platform in large enterprise or federal government environments.
Experience supporting federal government clients or environments with high compliance and security requirements; IRS experience preferred.
Strong understanding of Azure, Exchange, Intune, SharePoint, and related cloud services.
Proven ability to design secure, scalable, and compliant cloud solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and technical diagramming.
Ability to work in a remote, compliance-focused federal environment.
