Role Overview
- Review individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax returns prepared by offshore staff
- Identify technical inaccuracies, compliance risks, and missed tax planning opportunities
- Provide proactive tax strategy insights to optimize client outcomes
- Improve internal review workflows and increase operational efficiency
- Offer structured feedback and mentorship to remote team members
- Communicate directly with clients on complex tax matters and advisory issues
- Review and adjust QuickBooks financial statements to ensure tax readiness
- Collaborate with leadership to refine processes and improve turnaround time
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong hands-on experience with UltraTax, Drake, and/or Canopy
- Solid working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Proven experience reviewing tax returns (not just preparing them)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a remote, systems-oriented environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a continuous improvement approach
- Self-directed professional who performs well without micromanagement
