Role Overview
- Review Client and Matter set up
- Maintain documentation of all non-standard billing requirements
- Monitor work in progress
- Produce, review and distribute prebills
- Perform various billing functions for client invoices
- Audit edits in Aderant
- Manage attorney and client deadlines
- Actively monitor accounts receivable balances
- Maintain regular client contact
- Research and resolve client disputes
- Develop and maintain collection strategies
- Utilize systems for collections process and reporting
- Assist with all billing and collections related questions
Requirements
- 5+ years of legal billing experience
- Familiarity with automated billing systems
- Understanding of legal industry’s standard billing requirements
- Experience with Aderant expert
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
