Role Overview
- Manage, lead, and coordinate activities of your team to maximize performance, minimize costs, maintain quality, and endorse safety and operating standards
- Coach, train, and develop team members while maintaining daily maintenance projects, preventative maintenance, and repair work
- Foster a safe work environment, ensuring all quality and environmental standards are met
- Responsible for the proper management of day-to-day operational environmental issues
- Develop vision needed to lead and oversee maintenance support to factory operational equipment
- Direct and coordinate activities of the Maintenance Department to maintain equipment at the highest level through continuous improvement of maintenance systems
- Work with team members to develop cost-effective repair strategies and manage maintenance spending responsibilities
- Establish departmental goals and objectives for low cost high efficient operation
- Develop and implement innovative ideas and solutions for improved production efficiencies
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in a maintenance planning or reliability focused role within a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment and 3+ years of supervisory experience
- OR Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in engineering, maintenance, industrial services, military or related within a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment and 1+ years of supervisory experience
