Manage procurement from market intelligence and RFPs through to contract negotiation, and award.
Lead supplier qualification and benchmarking for performance, cost, quality, risk, and innovation potential.
Work closely with business units to forecast sourcing needs for the equipment categories and execute sourcing plans that support project delivery timelines and schedules.
Develop and apply a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) framework to evaluate supply opportunities, optimize levelized cost of energy (LCOE), and maximize project returns.
Lead global supplier relationships, fostering long-term strategic partnerships with module and racking manufacturers and technology innovators.
Act as the key interface between internal technical, engineering, project, operations, and finance teams to align sourcing decisions with business objectives.
Promote innovation and collaboration with suppliers to enhance competitiveness, quality, operations, reliability, and sustainability.
Communicate sourcing strategies, key risks, and opportunities across stakeholders and senior leadership.
Support global procurement initiatives and corporate sourcing objectives, ensuring consistency with enterprise-wide supply chain strategies.
Lead negotiation of complex commercial terms and Master Supply Agreements (MSAs), Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSAs) if applicable in region.
Collaborate closely with legal, technical, and project management teams to structure risk-balanced, bankable agreements.
Manage ongoing supplier relationships to ensure contract compliance, performance improvement, and continuous value creation.
Maintain strong understanding of module and racking technologies for renewable generation projects.
Analyze market trends, technology shifts, and supply chain dynamics to inform sourcing strategies and cost curves.
Support project feasibility and design optimization through cost modeling and technical inputs on sourcing alternative.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Legal or related field (Master’s degree and Engineering preferred).
8 -12 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement of renewable energy infrastructure equipment with emphasis on modules and racking systems sourcing.
Proven experience in international strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, innovation partnerships, and contract execution.
Proven track record negotiation complex commercial contracts and managing MSAs.
Strong knowledge of technical, operational, market and financial drivers for utility-scale and standalone storage projects.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently across time zones.
High analytical capability, commercial judgement, and comfort managing ambiguity in evolving markets.
Excellent relationship management, influencing, communication skills across executive and stakeholders.
Availability to travel as needed to supplier sites or project locations.
Knowledgeable of US safe harbor, tariffs, FEOC/material assistance, UFLPA, and tax equity financing requirements.
Ability to manage across multiple global time zones and availability to travel as needed to supplier sites and project locations.
