Contribute to a variety of environmental projects across the western U.S.
Supporting environmental monitoring and assessment projects using remote sensing, geospatial data, and field-collected information
Assisting with processing, interpreting, and integrating remotely sensed data into project workflows
Supporting field data collection efforts, including the safe operation of sampling equipment, GPS units, tablets/smartphones, and job-specific field tools
Collaborating with ESA scientists, planners, GIS analysts, and technologists to support client deliverables and reporting
Participating in data quality control, documentation, and project coordination activities
Requirements
0–5 years of experience in a relevant academic and/or professional scientific or environmental consulting environment
Preference given to candidates with 2+ years of experience
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of relevant, college-level coursework and applied experience in computer science, geography, natural resources, or a related field
Comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams and contributing to fast-paced consulting projects that involve both office-based analysis and fieldwork
Ability to pass federal and state background checks for project-based assignments
