Responsible for all local Murata customers within territory (not assigned to a Murata GAM / KAM).
Communicates with Murata affiliates proactively and effectively in support of fulfilling business developed in assigned territory but harvested globally / internationally via various available channels.
Responsible for customer relationships in assigned territory either directly or via Manufacturing Sales Representatives.
Acts as lead negotiator and facilitator of customer contracts and agreements (NDAs, pricing, share, VMI, etc.)
Provide feedback to our Business Development, Product Marketing, and Overseas Affiliates (OSAs) from customers, distributors, and representatives.
Responsible for development of new customer and new product business in alignment with company established Mass Market segment, technology, and product priorities.
Ensures execution of defined strategies with regards to Portfolio Management (Markets, Customers, Products).
Responsible for supporting the Area Sales Director/Manager with managing the assigned manufacturer sales representative in territory.
Providing critical support in the following areas and others as required; contracts (pricing), sales and design win efforts, customer relationships product promotion, competitive landscape, and commission related matters.
Develop, monitor, and manage Point of Sale (POS) and Original Equipment Manufacturers’ (OEMs) forecast for assigned territory and / or area.
Provide monthly reporting of significant changes in the business landscape (major win/loss, new customer engagement, new promotion activities and any other relevant topics).
Direct Sales Associates and Sales Planners’ activities in support of assigned account(s).
Will manage the GAM/KAM/SE activities in line with company established KGI/KPI’s.
Displays leadership that embodies our Corporate Philosophy (Shaze) and promotes the learning and growth of the team.
Supports the Areas Sales Director with the overall management of the Profit & Loss for the assigned territory: expense control, SG&A, Account Receivables, inventories, contract negotiations, price negotiations and commission matters.
Prepare related CRM information pertinent to new opportunities, key personnel, segments, etc. and maintain in appropriate databases.
Effectively utilize Rep business reviews and scorecards to assure visibility and accountability.
Proactively manage and oversee delinquent Accounts Receivable collections.
Perform other job-related responsibilities and duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, engineering, or business administration.
Minimum 6+ years of directly related work experience.
Ability to demonstrate proficiency in interpersonal skills including effective collaboration and communication skills.
Advanced problem-solving and negotiation skills with five+ years of experience negotiating high-level electronic component sales contracts.
Advanced knowledge of the electronic component industry.
Must possess basic knowledge of accounting principles.
Ability to demonstrate proficiency in current Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
Well-developed consultation skills to effectively manage client relationships including leading and motivating subordinate employees.
Well-developed presentation skills with the ability to be adaptable and consistently deal with ever-changing conditions.
