Acts as a coach who works within the team to maximize the value created.
Responsible for the planning and facilitation of standard meetings to include; backlog preparation, iteration planning, retrospectives, iteration reviews and daily stand-ups.
Facilitates the sizing of stories during the planning sprint, backlog grooming, or sprint planning sessions for the team.
Utilizes the team “definition of done” to guide the team during their sprint commitments.
Leverages defined metrics to enable continuous delivery, provide transparency and to optimize the value of iterative and incremental development.
Effectively facilitates retrospectives to pull actionable changes for the team.
Works with the product owner and stakeholders to determine staffing requirements.
Removes impediments, and makes issues and problems visible. Escalates as necessary.
Requirements
Minimum of 3-7 years of Scrum Master experience
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM or related certification strongly preferred)
SAFe Agile experience recommended
3+ years of information technology experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Systems or Engineering; or equivalent work experience
