Role Overview
- Define Vanguard’s Future State Data Architecture & Engineering Capability
- Lead cross-division semantic data modeling and metadata development for key US Direct Investor (USDI) data domains
- Define and govern the logical and physical data architecture(s) for the USDI platform
- Advance Data Platform of the Future architecture in coordination with a modern USDI Data & Intelligence Platform
- Lead development and governance of architecture directives and standards across data engineering
- Ensure alignment with enterprise AI-Ready Data strategy
- Explore AI use cases for data engineering and analyst roles
- Provide senior-level data architecture thought leadership to Personal Investor Technology Leadership
- Participate in governance team discussions
Requirements
- Minimum of ten years related work experience
- At least eight years of technology architect experience
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Graduate degree preferred
- AWS certified preferred
