Role Overview
- Function in a dynamic Product Development Team
- Work closely with the engineering department and Senior Electronics Engineers
- Help document functional, regulatory and environmental requirements for electronic products and systems
- Support both Legacy and New product designs related to quality issues
- Identify trends with RMA department to help identify quality issues
- Guide engineering to follow ISO requirements and standards
- Create and implement best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures
- Work directly with Contract manufacturers to address problems
- Define process parameters and criteria with Engineering to ensure supplier process capability
- Interface with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality related issues
- Support Purchasing and Contract Manufactures to coordinate with engineering on supply chain issues
- Manage the root cause analysis and corrective actions process
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in either quality, engineering, supply chain management or manufacturing processes
- 5+ years' experience with at least 2 years in a supplier quality role
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Six Sigma/Lean skills
- Experience of dealing with customers and suppliers.
