Role Overview
- Own features from design to deployment participating in refining product ideas for our customers.
- Build integrations and think about information architecture for systems with significant data.
- Collaborate with frontend and design on APIs while thinking about end-user impact.
- Obsess over latency and bugs, ensuring user delight for a daily use product.
- Operate in greenfield with the need to build safeguards and instrumentation along the way.
- Form product opinions by regularly meeting with customers to understand needs, validate solutions, and close the loop on what we ship.
- Build our engineering and broader culture with care and intentionality.
Requirements
- Some combination of 4 to 8 years in backend development, a senior role, or a strong track record shipping services and integrations end to end in a small team.
- A proven track record shipping user-visible features while making reasonable trade-offs between quality and timelines.
- Experience working with LLMs.
- Experience at startups or a proven track record of excelling at work beyond the typical scope of an engineering role.
