About this role
Role Overview
Assist in managing the Foundation’s national social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, and Bluesky).
Draft and schedule social media posts to promote research breakthroughs, patient education events, advocacy initiatives, and community stories.
Create social graphics and short videos using Canva brand templates.
Monitor social media communities and help respond to messages, comments, and engagement opportunities.
Support ongoing campaigns by collecting metrics in Sprout Social and summarizing performance insights.
Help manage social media requests from internal teams in Asana and maintain an organized content calendar.
Other duties as required
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Working knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X).
Experience with Canva or similar content design tools; familiarity with short-form video editing is a plus.
Interest in nonprofit and healthcare communications.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; comfortable managing multiple projects.
Experience with project or social media management tools (Asana, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar) is preferred but not required.
