Performs account reconciliations and analyzes financial data to support business operations and decision-making
Contributes to the preparation of public financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, SEC filings, and other regulatory reports
Supports evaluations of profitability, operational efficiency, and product performance at both the company and regional levels
Assesses how changes in accounting regulations may impact financial statements and internal controls
Follows established accounting policies and procedures and participates in internal and external audits, including SOX compliance activities
Requirements
Junior or senior-level student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, ideally with 0–2 years of relevant work or internship experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills required for the Accounting internship track
Demonstrates genuine interest in learning accounting within the mortgage, real estate, financial services, or title insurance industries
Brings strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a thorough approach to all assigned work
Shows a strong customer-focused mindset and represents the company with professionalism
Possesses the foundation to grow in key competencies including communication, customer focus, ethics and integrity, teamwork, adaptability, productivity, and initiative
Displays excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
