Provide support to G-5, Plans Division, to coordinate MARFORRES support to Marine Corps and Combatant Commander strategic and operational programs, projects, and actions.
Conduct daily liaison between Headquarters Marine Corps Plans, Policies, and Operations (PP&O) Plans Division (PLN), MARFORRES Assistant Chief of Staff (AC/S) G-3/5, Deputy G-3/5, G-5 Plans Officer, G-3/5 Section Heads, and MSCs, as required, to ensure MARFORRES alignment with Combatant Commander Operations Plans (OPLANS) and Contingency Plans (CONPLANS), and to ensure Combatant Commanders are aware of the capabilities and limitations of the Marine Corps' Reserve Component.
Employ an in-depth knowledge of the Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP) and Joint Planning Process (JPP) to conduct program management decision support actions for the Plans Division, including: development and tracking of applicable Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M); analysis of relevant joint, service, and MARFORRES-level directives to extract tasks and analyze impacts to the future operations of MARFORRES.
Support development of Marine Corps mobilization plans, processes, procedures, and policies in support of enterprise-level programs/initiatives.
This includes familiarization with other Marine Corps, DoD and Service Component working groups/programs to ensure deconfliction/synchronization with MARFORRES strategic and operational planning and decision-making processes.
Assist and advise the G-35 Division Head in matters pertaining to campaign development, deliberate and long-range operational planning, DoD policy, and service and joint-level future readiness requirements.
Improve decision making during planning and operations by assisting in the development of problem definition and desired end states, creation and employment of operational art, challenging assumptions, and offering alternative perspectives.
Conduct reviews and propose updates to applicable orders, directives, and policies governing future plans.
Requirements
At least eight (8) years of military experience with a minimum of five (5) years of experience at the operational or strategic level (MEF, MARFOR, Joint Task Force, Combatant Command, or equivalent).
Personnel need to be proficient in briefing and communication skills to senior Military (e.g., O-6 level and above); Military Commanders and their staff organizational leaders; and peers.
Personnel need experience working with a diverse and often conflicting group of stakeholders from a cross section of all staff divisions/efforts.
Personnel need to be experienced in the functional area they are supporting on future task orders.
Contractor personnel need to be skilled in developing executive-level correspondence and management programs involving executive-level participants.
Contractor personnel shall have required proficiency, certifications, experience, and skills required for the management of the specific systems, networks, and equipment to which they are assigned.

Must have successfully attended and graduated from one of the following: the United States Marine Corps School of Advanced Warfighting (SAW), the United States Army School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), the United States Navy Maritime Advanced Warfighting School (MAWS), or the United States Air Force School of Advanced Air and Space Studies (SAASS).
Must possess a minimum of an active Top Secret DoD Security Clearance.
