About this role
Role Overview
Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos, proposals, negotiations, and closing
Work with Sales Development Reps (SDRs) to convert qualified leads into sales opportunities
Build and manage a pipeline of CRE industry prospects and decision-makers (CFOs, Controllers, Project Managers, etc.)
Educate clients on ERP solutions (like Sage Intacct) as modern alternatives to legacy tools like Sage 300 CRE
Partner with Sales Engineers (SEs) to tailor technical solutions to client needs
Upsell and cross-sell additional products and services during the customer’s first year
Mentor and support junior sales team members as needed
Requirements
5+ years of quota-carrying B2B software sales experience, preferably in ERP or financial systems
Proven success selling into the construction and/or real estate industry
Familiarity with Sage CRE, Sage 300 Construction, or similar industry-specific platforms
Working knowledge of ERP/CRM systems (Sage Intacct and Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
A consultative sales approach and strong communication skills
