Generate a meaningful portion of your own pipeline through outbound prospecting and territory development
Partner closely with Acumen’s internal BDR team to convert qualified leads into revenue opportunities
Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demo coordination, proposals, negotiations, and close
Build and execute a focused territory strategy targeting mid-market finance leaders
Lead consultative discovery conversations around financial reporting, automation, multi-entity consolidations, revenue recognition, and operational visibility
Collaborate with presales consultants to deliver tailored product demonstrations
Maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene and accurate forecasting in Salesforce
Consistently meet or exceed annual new business revenue targets
Identify expansion and cross-sell opportunities early in the client lifecycle
Requirements
5+ years of quota-carrying B2B software sales experience
Proven history of self-generating pipeline and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
Experience selling ERP, financial systems, or complex B2B SaaS solutions (Sage Intacct experience preferred but not required)
Comfort managing 90–180+ day sales cycles
Strong executive presence and consultative sales methodology
Experience working alongside SDR/BDR teams
CRM discipline (Salesforce preferred)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
