Lead and scale a rapidly growing Revenue Cycle organization, adapting operating models to support growth, acquisitions, and increased volume.
Provide strategic direction and operational leadership for professional billing Revenue Cycle functions.
Maintain accountability for productivity, quality, compliance, and client-specific performance metrics.
Centralize ownership for end-to-end professional billing Revenue Cycle operations across assigned service lines.
Establish and maintain industry’s best practices and standardized workflows.
Serve as the primary Revenue Cycle leader supporting local market billing coordinators for Behavioral Health, RHCs, and Provider-Based Billing.
Provide guidance, escalation support, and problem-solving assistance to ensure timely claim submission, follow-up, and resolution.
Establish consistent communication and operating rhythms with market billing leaders to review performance, barriers, and improvement opportunities.
Translate enterprise Revenue Cycle strategies, policies, and standards into practical workflows for local teams.
Partner with market and operational leadership to support workflow optimization and change management.
Partner with Analytics to ensure reporting accuracy and standardized KPI definitions.
Establish governance processes for reviewing and approving Revenue Cycle build changes, payer configurations, and workflow modifications.
Monitor the operational impact of system changes and ensure rapid issue resolution to prevent revenue disruption.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle Management. Demonstrated leadership experience across middle
and back-end Revenue Cycle operations.
