Project Engineer provides leadership and technical planning, scheduling, and oversight of near-term and longer-range projects.

Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical and/or civil engineering project management, design, or operation
Knowledge of mechanical and civil engineering business products, business processes, customers, and competitive environment
Demonstrated ability in meeting project budget, schedule, and quality commitments in mechanical and civil engineering projects
Excellent leadership, influencing, communication, and presentation skills
Experience working with Government contracts and contracting requirements
Ability and willingness to travel
Experience in boiling water or advanced reactors and/or equivalent technical environment, with a focus on mechanical and civil engineering aspects
Prior experience working with architect engineers/subcontractors on mechanical and civil engineering projects
IT/Computer competency
Proven ability to think strategically, be creative, and move quickly
Established credibility with peers and managers based on experience in mechanical and civil engineering
Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems specific to mechanical and civil engineering
Primavera project scheduling tool experience
Graduate of GE leadership program (PMLP, JOLP, or similar)
