About this role
Role Overview
Design, implement, and optimize operational workflows for the Workers' Compensation division
Support and manage operational teams, including training and performance management
Develop and track KPIs to measure operational excellence and program performance
Build efficient processes and systems to support the scalable growth of the WC program
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Network Operations, and Growth teams to ensure seamless execution
Assess and support network strategy as it ties into operational utilization and state-specific requirements
Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to drive operational efficiency
Manage relationships with suppliers, providers, and key stakeholders in the WC ecosystem
Ensure compliance with state regulations and Workers' Compensation requirements
Create and maintain operational documentation, playbooks, and training materials
Requirements
Experience building and scaling operational programs, workflows, or teams in healthcare, workers' compensation, insurance, or adjacent industries
Strong program management skills with a track record of delivering complex initiatives from concept to execution
Deep understanding of operational excellence principles, including process optimization, performance management, and continuous improvement
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization
Data-driven mindset with experience in establishing and tracking operational metrics and KPIs
Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment
Experience with Workers Compensation processes, state regulations, or healthcare operations (preferred but not required)
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex operational concepts into clear documentation and training materials
Bias toward action and ownership, with a hands-on approach to getting things done
Passion for improving healthcare access and outcomes for patients
