About this role
Role Overview
- Provide basic patient care working under the direction of the registered nurse
- Communicate changes in patient situations/conditions that require notification to the RN
- Perform efficient patient bedside handoffs at shift change using SBAR communication methodologies
- Assist with patient activities as delegated by the RN including activities of daily living (i.e. dressing, ambulating, toileting, eating, grooming, oral care and bathing)
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Certification (BLS CPR) required
- Active/expired Certified Nursing Assistant on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry
- Prior experience as a C.N.A. is preferred
