Meet or exceed yearly fundraising goals for the IRC in Kansas.
Develop annual fundraising plans with specific and measurable goals and objectives.
Implement multi-office strategies linked to fundraising plans.
Oversee preparation of letters of inquiry, proposals, budgets, and reports to funders.
Identify, cultivate, and sustain individual donors through various means.
Ensure the Development team works effectively to meet cash and in-kind matching requirements.
Oversee annual fundraisers, donor appeals, and special events.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred; graduate degree in Development, Nonprofit Management, Business Management, International Relations, or a related field a plus.
Minimum of five (5) years of nonprofit experience in fundraising, grant writing, public relations, or volunteer coordination.
Prior supervisory or people management experience strongly preferred.
Proven success in donor and foundation relations, including securing funded grant proposals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and online research tools.
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
Experience working effectively in multicultural environments.
