Role Overview
- Analyze unique transactions and prepare technical accounting memos to document accounting positions
- Review accounting policies and procedures for ongoing pertinence
- Collaborate with teams to provide technical accounting guidance on various topics
- Monitor and assess the impact of new accounting standards and lead implementations
- Interact with external auditors
- Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial reports
- Assist in maintaining and improving SOX compliance related to technical accounting processes
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or other technical accounting roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related discipline
- CPA Certification
- Experience with Hyperion (HFM), Costpoint, and Cognos
