Implement processes to support ongoing disposition within PG&E systems per Information & Records Governance standards and procedures.
Implement and manage a disposition tracking and validation process and drive information lifecycle management compliance in new and upgraded systems.
Identify and implement process improvements across all disposition processes, including in unstructured systems such as SharePoint, Shared Drives, and Documentum.
Performs analysis on highly complex data models that have cross-functional impacts.
Applies advanced knowledge to wide-ranging issues related to data and information lifecycle management and systems of record.
Develops innovative data solutions to address complex business issues.
Presents findings and proposed recommendations to leaders.
Develop business cases in support of strategy or change initiatives.
Works with and leverages relationships with Directors and Managers across functions / PG&E.
Supports implementation of company-wide information lifecycle and data disposition programs, coordinating with internal stakeholders to achieve alignment, integrating with existing records and asset inventories.
Engages with application/system stakeholders to understand the technology involving structured systems containing data, information, and records, and determines needed actions for IRG response and support.
Responds to internal requests, aligning with IRG’s service/support model, to ensure continued and/or improved information and records compliance practices. This could include non-routine problems that require in-depth analysis and judgement to drive compliance with IRG standards and procedures.
Manages cross-functional projects or initiatives, including regularly reporting project status and metrics.
Identifies and coordinates process improvement activities to ensure consistency, cohesiveness and application of best practices, to align with organization’s performance goals.
Travel within PG&E service territory (as needed)
Requirements
BS in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience required.
6 years of related work experience
Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Library and Information Systems, Information Technology, Legal Studies, or related discipline. (Desired)
Experience in utility operations. (Desired)
Certification in information governance/records management or data management. (Desired)
Knowledge of records management, information governance and/or data management. (Desired)
