Works closely with development teams, purchasing and suppliers to ensure required materials are available reliably and on time.
Obtains and compares quotes and prepares well-founded supplier selection recommendations.
Places orders for prototypes, tooling and pre-series requirements and resolves technical, commercial or logistical discrepancies.
Supports new product ramp-ups and participates in procurement review meetings to ensure a smooth launch.
Implements technical and logistical changes with suppliers as part of change management.
Assists Advanced and Lifecycle Procurement Engineers with supplier-related matters.
Contributes to process improvements and standardization tasks within the team and across the purchasing department.
