Role Overview
Support in the development of novel algorithms and methods for use in data-driven applications in medical or safety technology
Development of intelligent sensor systems for controlling anesthesia and ventilation devices
Further development of mobile and stationary gas measurement device fleets as well as camera-based monitoring systems
Deliverables should demonstrate a strong connection to clinical end-users and the final product
Possibility of partial remote work
Requirements
Enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a comparable degree program (at least in the 4th semester) with a focus on Data Science or Computer Vision
Ideally, initial experience with tools such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, OpenCV, or the Point Cloud Library
For students specializing in Data Engineering: ideally initial experience with modern (NoSQL) database systems, distributed storage systems and stream processors such as Apache Spark or Flink, as well as cloud platforms
Initial programming experience in software development (C/C++, Python and ideally C#, Java)
Interest in applying your theoretically grounded approach and creativity in practice to develop innovative solution ideas and to think from the perspective of our application domains and users
