Advise and support grocery retail (LEH) customers in your territory as the competent point of contact for spices in the Leverkusen, Cologne & Bergisch Gladbach region
Onboard, professionally and disciplinarily lead and motivate your team, including cover and vacation planning
Build and maintain long-term, partnership-based relationships with decision-makers in the grocery retail sector
Analyze and manage sales KPIs and distribution execution, and initiate targeted actions to leverage customer-specific potential
Coordinate shelf agreements and plan new fixture installations in close collaboration with customers and the refit team
Agree on and implement secondary placements (promotional displays) to support sales
Monitor the market and ensure POS (point-of-sale) excellence
Conduct regional meetings and training sessions, and support recruiting processes

Completed commercial qualification, preferably in the FMCG sector or retail
Solid industry knowledge of the grocery retail sector and regional network (e.g., regional manager, store manager, or sales manager)
Ideally, initial leadership experience and an understanding of KPIs
Good knowledge of standard MS Office applications
Driver's license and willingness to travel and stay overnight
Friendly demeanor, strong team and communication skills, commitment, and cost awareness
Negotiation skills and assertiveness when engaging with negotiation partners in the role of Area Sales Manager (m/f/d)
