Lead high-impact sustainability initiatives that drive measurable change across a region-wide health network and create lasting environmental impact.
Facilitate environmental sustainability activities, including the development and ongoing management of Environmental Management Plans, and the facilitation of sustainability programs and projects.
Drive practical, measurable outcomes aligned to organisational objectives, prepare services for ACSQHC environmental sustainability accreditation, source external funding, and embed sustainability through education, policy and best-practice frameworks.
Monitor performance, financial and regulatory reporting, and publish annual sustainability reports.
Coordinate and promote sustainability initiatives, build capability across services, and support continuous improvement in environmental performance.
Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Natural Resource Management or a related discipline.
Demonstrated senior-level experience leading sustainability initiatives and embedding best-practice standards within large, complex organisations.
Proven people leadership and team management capability, with success delivering strategic programs and measurable outcomes.
Strong knowledge of Victorian Government sustainability policy and regulatory frameworks.
Advanced project and contract management expertise, including planning, risk and issue management, vendor performance, compliance, and reporting.
Highly developed stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence diverse internal and external partners.
Strong analytical and organisational skills, including cost–benefit evaluation, ability to manage competing priorities, and capacity to travel as required (current Victorian Driver’s Licence).
