Role Overview
- Ensure compliance with all legal, quality, environmental, and occupational health & safety requirements
- Responsible for cost-efficient procurement strategies
- Actively reduce purchasing costs
- Serve as the subject-matter expert for the assigned commodity group in Europe
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies
- Build and manage long-term supplier relationships
Requirements
- Completed commercial training or a degree in business administration or a related field
- Several years of experience in procurement/purchasing
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
