Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy aligned with Clorox’s business goals
Identify and assess market trends, supplier capabilities, and competitive dynamics
Utilize AI-driven market intelligence tools and predictive analytics
Establish long-term partnerships with key suppliers
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply
Conduct annual performance reviews with key strategic suppliers
Partner with suppliers to explore innovation opportunities
Lead cost-management initiatives to deliver annual savings goals through strategic sourcing
Manage and optimize category spend, identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities
Collaborate with Finance and Business Unit teams to track performance against budget targets
Work closely with R&D, Packaging, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams
Partner with Sustainability teams to drive initiatives supporting Clorox’s environmental goals.

7+ years of proven experience leading complex, multi-site or global procurement categories, ideally within packaging or consumer goods
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
Deep understanding of folding cartons, litho-laminate, and broader paper-based packaging technologies
Strong negotiation expertise, including structuring long-term contracts and pricing frameworks
Excellent supplier relationship management skills with a history of developing collaborative partnerships
Digital and AI literacy, with hands‑on experience applying generative AI, advanced analytics, and digital procurement tools
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost modeling, and understanding commodity drivers.
Robust project management skills with success delivering cross-functional initiatives.
Ability to translate technical packaging needs into sourcing strategies that balance performance and cost.
Experience operating in a matrixed organization and influencing without authority.
Strong communication and presentation skills for executive-level audiences.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
