About this role
Role Overview
Prepares and directs the execution of assigned Central Management Services (CMS), Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT), Chief Procurement Office – General Services (CPO-GS) joint purchasing master contractual agreements and related documentation.
Prepares requests for commodities, printing materials and equipment.
Negotiates with vendors to obtain the most advantageous prices.
Logs procurement documents into the procurement access database, and in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for tracking, preparing and executing IDOR contractual agreements.
Assists other areas of the Division when back-logs arise.
Monitors and follows-up on Contractor/Sub-Contractor annual disclosures.
Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
Requirements
Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, preferably with coursework in business or public administration.
Requires one year of responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization, -OR
completion of an agency approved professional management training program.
Requires one year of procurement experience with experience writing and drafting Requests for Quote (RFQs), Invitation for Bid (IFBs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), and Requests for Information (RFIs).
