Vice President, OCMO – Physician

Role Overview

• Drive clinical excellence across full spectrum of kidney care
• Oversee clinical strategy and operations for a designated business group
• Lead clinical initiatives that span the entire patient journey
• Partner with IKC leadership to implement innovative care delivery models
• Serve as an external-facing clinical subject matter expert
• Utilize data to assess quality and drive population health management strategies
• Partner with operational leadership to drive clinical performance
• Serve as a mentor for local medical directors
• Lead outreach to physicians and practices
• Educate non-physician practitioners and partners on clinical goals

Requirements

• M.D., D.O., or MBBS degree
• Board Certification in Nephrology
• Minimum 10 years of experience
• background as a practicing nephrologist
• experience as a dialysis medical director
• content knowledge in operational dialysis therapies
• content knowledge in Value-Based Care
• Proven experience leading large healthcare teams
• ability to work with non-physician leadership
• ability to evaluate clinical outcomes
• ability to interpret complex data sets
• confidence as a speaker in multiple settings
