You hold overall responsibility for Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) on the construction site.
You develop and implement the project-specific HSE strategy in accordance with legal requirements as well as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
You ensure compliance with all safety policies and client requirements.
You manage the permit-to-work system as well as risk assessments and work releases/permits.
You conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and training sessions.
You analyze accidents and near-misses and implement sustainable preventative measures.
You are responsible for environmental management, including monitoring environmental obligations.
You report transparently to project management and stakeholders and ensure audit-proof HSE documentation.
Requirements
You are certified as a Specialist for Occupational Safety (SiFa) or hold an equivalent certification and ideally possess a SiGeKo qualification (construction site safety coordinator).
In addition, you hold a recognized HSE qualification.
You bring at least 5 years of experience in HSE roles within the construction or energy sector.
You have experience on large construction sites and in leading HSE teams.
Experience in the energy infrastructure sector, particularly with TSO (Transmission System Operator) projects, is an advantage.
You work in a structured, assertive and solution-oriented manner.
You are regularly present on-site.
You communicate confidently in German and English.
