About this role

Independently perform structural calculations for pipe and equipment supports (SIA, Eurocode)
Develop constructive/detailing solutions
Design structural frameworks in 3D models
Piping structural calculations and planning (EN, ASME)
Dimensioning of special supports for piping (FEM)
Improve processes and working procedures
Serve as technical contact for junior colleagues, including quality assurance
Technical coordination within projects
Contribute to the preparation of tender documents, project cost estimates and approvals
Act as deputy to the department manager

Degree (Dipl.-Ing., Bachelor or Master) in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent qualification
At least 7 years of professional experience in steel structure design projects
Experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical or biotech industries is an advantage
Solid understanding of force flows and structural behavior
Familiarity with structural analysis software is an advantage, ideally Dlubal RFEM and Rohr2
CAD skills and BIM experience are an advantage, e.g., Tekla Structures, Tricad MS, E3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit
Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
