About this role
Role Overview
Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for deployment and scaling
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Monitor system health, optimize costs, and ensure platform reliability
Provide technical guidance to product teams and participate in on-call rotation
Drive automation and process improvements to enhance developer experience
Requirements
3-7 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Proficiency in coding
ability to write scripts and automation (Go, Python, Bash, or similar)
Proven track record of delivering infrastructure improvements that measurably improved team productivity or system reliability
Strong communication skills for technical collaboration across teams
Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
Expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
Solid understanding of CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
Comfortable working in a Linux/Unix environment
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry)
Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles
