Role Overview
- Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for deployment and scaling
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Monitor system health, optimize costs, and ensure platform reliability
- Provide technical guidance to product teams and participate in on-call rotation
- Drive automation and process improvements to enhance developer experience
Requirements
- 3-7 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in coding
- ability to write scripts and automation (Go, Python, Bash, or similar)
- Proven track record of delivering infrastructure improvements that measurably improved team productivity or system reliability
- Strong communication skills for technical collaboration across teams
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Comfortable working in a Linux/Unix environment
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry)
- Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles
