About this role
Role Overview
Professional and sustainable implementation and further development of the safeguarding/protection concept in youth and family services
Support for managers and professionals through consultation, training and professional process facilitation
Conducting risk and potential analyses
Supporting participation processes and teaching skills to build stable relationships
Moderation and facilitation of team meetings and case discussions with a focus on safeguarding aspects
Carrying out child protection responsibilities in accordance with Section 8a of the German Child and Youth Welfare Act (SGB VIII) and supporting assessments of risks to a child’s welfare
Ensuring documentation and follow-up of measures initiated
Requirements
University degree in social work, social pedagogy or education (m/f/d)
Initial professional experience in child and youth welfare
Additional qualification in systemic counseling, child protection, sexual education, trauma pedagogy or similar (advantageous)
Further training in the "New Authority" approach (willingness to undertake training)
Solid knowledge of the legal framework (SGB VIII, UN Convention on the Rights of the Child – UN CRC, UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities – UN CRPD)
Systemic-humanistic stance, social presence, clarity and reliability
