Lead all global procurement activities for industrial packaging, ensuring strong category strategy and competitive advantage.
Build and maintain deep understanding of supply markets, economics, technologies, and cost drivers relevant to IBC totes, plastic drums, and related components.
Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, quality, reliability, and innovation.
Lead negotiation planning and execution for commercial terms and supply agreements, collaborating with operations, quality, legal and other internal partners.
Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and packaging rationalization initiatives to optimize total cost of ownership.
Partner with Supplier Quality to monitor performance, support audits, and ensure compliance with quality agreements.
Develop risk management strategies and ensure proactive mitigation planning for global supply continuity.
Strengthen supplier relationships, leveraging global synergies and promoting accountability through supplier scorecards and performance metrics.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Procurement/Supply Chain, Engineering, Chemistry, Finance, or Business.
Five or more years of relevant experience in procurement or engineering within an industrial packaging environment.
Strong knowledge of commodity and engineered materials (e.g., HDPE/rHDPE, PP/rPP, thermoplastics, steel).
Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier negotiation.
Experience working in regulated industries preferred.
Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
