Develop and execute ClassLink’s international business development strategy.
Identify and prioritize target markets based on regulatory environment, funding structures, and digital transformation initiatives.
Conduct market analysis to inform pricing, positioning, and partnership strategies.
Government & Ministry Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with Ministries of Education, regional education authorities, and government stakeholders.
Lead strategic discussions related to national or regional digital access initiatives, identity management, and interoperability frameworks.
Navigate public procurement processes, tenders, and RFP submissions.
Strategic Partnerships
Identify and negotiate partnerships with distributors, resellers, system integrators, and technology providers.
Structure channel agreements and joint go-to-market strategies.
Represent ClassLink at international education and government forums.
Revenue & Pipeline Development
Drive international revenue growth and pipeline development aligned with company goals.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Legal teams to localize offerings where appropriate.
Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategy to meet growth targets.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with product teams to align roadmap priorities with international market needs.
Provide feedback on compliance, localization, and regulatory requirements (e.g., data privacy, hosting, security standards).
Support international customer success and implementation efforts as needed.
Requirements
8–12+ years of experience in business development, international sales, or strategic partnerships.
Demonstrated success expanding technology solutions into international markets.
Experience working within K–12 education technology ecosystems.
Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally (30–50%).
Preferred Experience
Direct experience working with Ministries of Education or national-level education authorities.
Experience responding to international tenders and government procurement processes.
Background in identity management, cybersecurity, edtech platforms, or SaaS solutions.
Established international education network and government relationships.
Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
