About this role
Role Overview
Responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Develops and implements sales strategies to drive revenue growth in a defined geographic territory.
Identifies and pursues new business opportunities within the territory.
Builds and maintains relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Collaborates with other members of the sales team to achieve sales goals and objectives.
Conducts market research and analysis to inform sales strategies and identify potential new opportunities.
Provides regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
Attends industry events and conferences to represent the company and identify new leads.
Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, including educators, administrators, and industry partners.
Manages the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on leads and opportunities.
Travels frequently within the defined territory to meet with clients and prospects.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in consultative sales, preferably in the education industry.
Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in CTE education.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong sales and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Ability to develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Ability and willingness to travel frequently within the defined territory.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
