Role Overview
Provide strategic Leadership and coordination with partners, consultants, and contractors to drive the successful execution of on-site generation and bridging power construction activities
Direct and manage the construction of multiple on-site generation and bridging power projects
Management of partners and consultants related to electrical substation design and construction
Lead in standardization of utility substation design, including distribution feeds to multiple buildings
Manage budgets and cost forecasting of utility projects, including construction and equipment
Develop transformer and equipment specifications
Procure substation long lead equipment and transformers
Procure and manage construction of multiple substation sites simultaneously
Track and report on status and schedule of power delivery timelines
Requirements
Five or more years of on-site generation or medium voltage construction management
Five or more years of experience running multiple projects at the same time or related professional experience
Knowledge of substation industry partners and transformer manufacturers
Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
Be able to travel up to 50% of the time or as needed to support projects
Demonstrated experience working directly with executives and collaborating effectively across all levels of the organization
Ten plus years of on-site generation design or construction (preferred)
Experience as licensed electrician engineer with focus on MV / HV work (preferred)
Technical expertise in High and Medium Voltage Electrical Design (preferred)
Experience managing large portfolio of work (preferred)
