Role Overview
- Manage an inventory of highly complex commercial claims
- Ensure exceptional customer service by managing all aspects of the claim
- Lead focused investigation to determine compensability, liability and covered damages
- Resolve claims by collaborating with stakeholders to develop a claim resolution strategy
- Establish and manage claim budgets by achieving timely claim resolution
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum six years of relevant experience, preferably in claim handling or medical malpractice litigation
- JD a plus
- Prior negotiation experience
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire, where applicable
- Professional designations preferred (e.g. CPCU)
