Conduct structured thematic reviews of market trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices.
Identify emerging risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and present findings in clear, well-supported reports to the relevant department head.
Monitor the activities of industry peers and other relevant market participants, including product offerings, pricing strategies, service enhancements, regulatory positioning, and public communications.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date market intelligence records.
Prepare regular market intelligence reports summarising key developments, sector movements, and potential strategic implications for the business.
Present findings internally and escalate significant matters where appropriate.
Assist in reporting on departmental SLAs and KPIs, ensuring accurate data collection, monitoring performance against targets, and preparing summary reports for management review.
Liaise with internal departments to gather information and ensure alignment between research findings, compliance obligations, and business objectives.
Requirements
BA/BSc degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
2-4 years’ experience in compliance support, business analysis, performance monitoring, or a similar role.
Experience within financial services or a regulated environment is advantageous.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
