Develop and execute strategies for increased customer penetration by selling additional products and services to all customer divisions.
Set strategic goals and tactical plans to achieve significant growth and build on the culture of achieving those goals within a high success/high reward environment.
Directly engage at customer locations to win incremental business through active business development.
Requires establishing strong relationships with various management levels.
Periodic international travel may be necessary to develop opportunities collaboratively in foreign countries.
Work closely with customer engineers and purchasing to ensure product and design requirements are identified.
Work closely with Boyd Engineering to manage the design and development of customer solutions.
Display and demonstrate products and solutions using prototypes, samples, and marketing support materials, providing value added guidance to customers.
Manage the quotation process.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
5+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical selling role with a proven track record of success in the manufacturing industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving business growth.
Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies, including market analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
Experience working with CRM software and other sales tools to track performance and manage customer relationships.
Ability to travel as needed, including internationally.
