About this role

Define, initiate and manage R&D projects to develop new product or production process.
Provide technical support for production in Asian Pacific region on process development and optimization, trouble-shooting, debottlenecking, etc.
Establish an expert network within the BASF global research community, operational units and scientific partners to maintain state of the art expertise as well as monitor new practices and market trends.

Fresh PhD, or Master degree with >3 years’ experience in chemical engineering, polymer reaction engineering or related;
In-depth knowledge on polymer-related chemical and process engineering, production process;
Experience with polyamide, polyurethane or polyester chemistry & production process is a plus; experience with process modelling & simulation using Aspen, Matlab is also a plus;
Demonstrate a high level of creativity and personal initiative, work well in global teams;
English: be able to use English as work language.
