In your role as Process Developer (m/f/d), you will act as project manager for the development of new processes in the area of rolling for thin foils and be responsible for project planning and management, coordination of project teams, and liaison with suppliers and service providers.
Development and optimization of rolling and other manufacturing processes for production.
Evaluation of new technological solutions and execution of feasibility studies, as well as analysis and assessment of manufacturing processes with respect to economic and technical improvements.
Conduct root-cause analyses of equipment and processes and provide technical support to manufacturing areas in the event of equipment failures or quality issues.
Planning of production transfers and implementation of improvement projects.
Preparation and revision of technical documentation, handling of quality notifications and special approvals, and documentation of process workflows.
Requirements
Degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field.
Experienced project manager with several years of professional experience, ideally in process development.
Solid knowledge of rolling and processing of strips and foils.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Strong skills in MS Office, data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab), project management software, and SAP.
Confident communication with internal and external stakeholders and very good knowledge of safety regulations.
Cost awareness, high level of independence, and willingness to travel (<10%).
