Define, implement, and optimize data governance standards and processes
Drive accountability by establishing clear, shared goals for all roles involved in data governance
Establish and continuously improve repeatable workflows for data sourcing, transformation, delivery, and maintenance within data products
Develop and manage robust metadata frameworks and tools
Build and oversee a pragmatic data stewardship program
Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, and other partners to embed governance and stewardship practices
Mentor, train and empower an organization focused on governance, stewardship, and metadata best practices
Provide clear updates on data governance initiatives, stewardship effectiveness, and data maturity goals
Seek and drive adoption of new approaches, technologies, and frameworks to evolve data governance capabilities.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
12+ years’ experience in data governance, product management, or data management, with direct experience in metadata management and/or data stewardship
Demonstrated ability to build and evolve data governance frameworks
Deep understanding of data lifecycle management, data modeling, and best practices for metadata and documentation
Hands-on experience with data cataloging, lineage tracking, and stewardship program management
Proven leadership and team development skills in a cross-functional, product-driven environment
Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills; experience making data-driven decisions
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
