Role Overview
Accountability: You take ownership of the evolution of the cross platform, working collaboratively with other Tech Leads and with a sense of ownership over structural changes, whether in Node.js or Kotlin.
Engagement and Technical Leadership: Technically lead a squad and the B2B/P ecosystem platform, inspiring teams by example. Act as a mentor and change agent, engaging developers in adopting new technologies with a restless mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.
End-to-End Development: Design, code, test, deploy, and maintain scalable applications. You are responsible for implementing the architectures you propose, ensuring productivity and technical excellence in the code.
Adaptability and Sustainable Evolution: Guide the cultural and technical migration from Node.js to Kotlin, adapting to the current roadmap without "rewriting everything from scratch."
Efficiency and Effectiveness: Empower engineering teams through Generative AI and FinOps practices, optimizing cloud resource usage and the delivery cycle. Pragmatism without overengineering.
Operational Excellence: Ensure application health through observability and root cause analysis (RCA), guaranteeing absolute stability in environments.
Mentorship and Culture: Conduct critical Code Reviews, promote Pair Programming, and actively contribute to the career development of developers.
Requirements
Polyglot Executor Profile: Technical mastery to code productively in Node.js, Kotlin/Java, and React.
Fundamentals and Quality: Strong knowledge of Design Patterns (Clean Code, SOLID, KISS, DRY), Well-Architected Framework, Test Pyramid, and integration of APIs, Webhooks, Messaging.
Evolving Architecture: Practical experience with orchestrated and choreographed architectures, Monolithic and Microservices architectures, DDD, and strategies for coexistence between distinct stacks during migrations.
Data and Persistence: Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) and theorems (PIE and CAP);
AI for Engineering: Experience using Generative AI tools applied to software development;
Cloud, Containers & DevOps: Advanced experience in AWS architecture, containerization, and modern CI/CD pipelines;
Observability Excellence: Mastery of SRE practices and tools (NewRelic, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry) and the three pillars of Observability (Logs, Metrics and Traces) to ensure operational health and visibility;
Communication and Influence: Ability to engage and motivate change across different teams, earning the trust of peers and developers.
