About this role
Role Overview
- Build and evolve the FinOps Data Lake, integrating Cost and Usage Report (CUR) data from multiple AWS accounts and other providers.
- Create dashboards and executive analyses in Amazon QuickSight or other data visualization tools, providing a consolidated view of cost, revenue, and budget.
- Define and maintain cost allocation rules (showback/chargeback) by business unit, environment, and business group.
- Support technical teams in identifying cost optimization opportunities.
- Act as a bridge between Engineering and Finance, translating technical metrics into financial impacts for executive leadership.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.
- Experience with FinOps, FP&A, or cloud cost management (AWS).
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with BI tools (QuickSight, Power BI).
- Knowledge of Athena, S3, and CUR (Cost and Usage Report).
- Understanding of budgeting, budget variance (BGT), and financial metrics.
