Responsible for the successful daily execution of coordinating the flow of defective goods inventory back to the vendor for repair/replacement
Manage defective goods inventory
Facilitate the transfer of goods from inventory back to the vendor for repair, replacement, or credit
Generate and execute RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) purchase orders, Requests for RMAs, and other necessary documents related to the return to vendor of defective goods
Maintain current accurate records and files of discrepancies and related return to vendor records
Establish and maintain sound professional relationships with vendors
Resolve issues associated with returns of defective goods
Compile, review, and analyze data
Communicate with Supplier Quality Engineers, Buyers, and Program Managers regarding vendor performance and part issues
Requirements
High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage own time effectively
Must be flexible and willing to move between projects and tasks quickly
The ability to listen to others and work well as part of a team
Knowledge of office procedures and good writing and verbal skills
