About this role
Role Overview
Manage the team of Business Development Reps and Managers to ensure new business revenue targets are consistently achieved.
Demonstrate deep industry and regulatory fluency (e.g., EPR obligations, transportation and waste management regulations) to proactively guide clients through evolving compliance landscapes and available treatment and recycling options.
Align cross-functional teams across Sales, Operations, Compliance, Finance and others to synchronize client needs with company growth objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Prepare for and participate in monthly review of activity and progress toward targets in support of Comply Americas monthly forecasting process, Quarterly Business Review, annual budget, and long-term model.
Proactively identify areas for increased interaction and expanded services to develop tailored solutions and drive growth.
Collaborate with key Industry Associations and network within the EPR Consulting, Circular Solutions and Environmental Service sectors.
Gather market intelligence on competition on a routine basis and update business strategy document with leadership.
Work collaboratively with marketing stakeholders to ensure event-related activity and marketing strategy align with targeted business development objectives.
Support Director of Customer Care and the Operations Management teams to ensure that all customers receive top-in-class service and identify opportunities for process improvements and expanded service offerings.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sustainability or a related field
15+ years of progressive Sales and Business Development leadership experience
Progressive experience in business development and team leadership
Financial acumen
Proven ability to collaborate and build trust
Ability to deliver superior customer service and identify opportunities for process improvements and expanded service offerings
